Welcome to the Royal Sovereign at 'thesov.co.uk' We have set this site up to let everyone know about how much fun we're having and to ask you to come and join in. click on our News and events page to see what we're getting up to and some details about how you may get involved. There is always something happening.

In the bar we are well stocked with a delicious range of beers, wines and spirits. With well kept real ales including Fullers London Pride, and St Austills Tribute from Cornwall always available. We have been verified and approved by Caske-Marque, the sign of quality real ale.

Our lagers include San Miguel, Kronenbourg 1664, Stella Artois, Fosters and Carling. We serve Gaymers Pear Cider and Strongbow as well as a wide range of bottled ciders. We have a range of quality wines including a range of Casillero del Diablo from Chile, Rioja Crianza and Gran Reserva.

 

Food and Drink

Down at the Sov we are lucky to have a nice big family beer garden and are in the process of building a large covered area with heating and comfortable seating for the coming winter.

Not only are we blessed with good drink at the Sovereign. We have recently been building up a bit of a reputation in the area for having some of the most delicious hand made pizzas available. The key being both our fantastic Italian chef and the quality ingredients he uses.

The pizza dough for a start is freshly hand made every single day using only the best 'Caputo' pizza flour. Being Italian, and settling only for the best, our chef sources his toppings from a variety of Italian importers with quality being far more important than price.
